João Wahnon, Fusion Fuel's Head of Business Development, presented Fusion Fuel's landmark GreenGas demonstration project in Evora. GreenGas will produce green hydrogen to be mixed into the local natural gas network and also for energy storage and electricity production.
GreenGas is a pioneering project, paving the way for Green Hydrogen at cost levels that are competitive with Brown Hydrogen.

Fusion Fuel has developed a proprietary electrolysis solution that enables the production of emissions-free, renewable hydrogen on a cost basis comparable with brown hydrogen.
In the submission, Fusion Fuel has included its Sines 1-5 projects that are expected to run from 2020 to 2025, with a total project value of over €450m, requiring the creation of an additional assembly in the region.
These strategic projects are aligned with Portugal’s Hydrogen Strategy and its ambitious decarbonization targets.
